This print is from a plein air oil painting, 'Contentment Sketch',  done at sunset at San Onofre State Beach.  I had so much fun painting this that I painted a larger painting of the same scene, entitled 'Contentment'.   I love the way the light and colors of this scene convey the feeling of calm and contentment that I feel after a fulfilling surf accompanied by a beautiful sunset.
