Amidst a wild and wet California winter, storms swept across the state, unleashing dramatic waves upon the restless seas. Seizing this opportunity, I ventured out with my camera, determined to capture these captivating moments for future studio paintings. "Drenched Sands - Aliso Beach in the Rain" emerged from one such adventure, where I raced along the rain-soaked shore, capturing the collision of crashing waves upon steadfast rocks. \
