'Midday Monterey Light' was painted 'en plein air' (outside, on location) at Asilomar Beach, during a recent trip to Monterey for a painting workshop.  During this intensive week of painting (7 or more hours a day), the weather was warm and the light on the rocks made for some fun and interesting shapes to paint.
