Andrew Molera State Park is one of my favorite places to camp in Big Sur, California.  Located in the northern region of Big Sur, the camping spot is about a half mile from Highway One, and this particular painting spot is just beyond.  It is a quiet and beautiful area, situated under a grove of Eucalyptus.  Under the cool shade of these trees, the distant hills were warm and pink against the brilliant summer blue sky.
