'Overhead Splendor' is part of a new series of paintings inspired by all things Palm Trees, These paintings are the result of studying and painting the  interesting patterns, colors, textures and breezy, beachy feel. I love the distant patterns and shapes of palm trees as they tower overhead.  During different times of day, I love strolling around town, sketching and taking photos of these palms, as the diffused light creates so many interesting colors.
