This is the second of a three part painting series, 'Rhythms of the Sea'.  Each painting was painted 'en plein air' (on location) at Asilomar Beach in Monterey, during a painting workshop with master painter Ovanes Berberian.  During this week of intensive painting, (7 or more hours a day),  I was enchanted by the constant rhythm of the sea as the waves played against the rocks.
