This contemporary seascape features soft green sea tones with a muted light grey sky.  I was inspired by the simplicity of colors surrounding me on this morning.  The hazy grey marine layer hovered over the ocean, green and quiet.  Most of my paintings are inspired by the outdoors and painted in the studio, or they are painted on-site ('en plein air', as the french say).
