This miniature oil painting was inspired by the golden, diffused morning light streaming through tall grasses.  Most mornings you'll find me surfing during sunrise at my favorite beach where these tall grasses grow at the banks of a small stream.  It is painted with high quality oil paint on a solid hand-crafted wood panel. Image wraps around all four sides and eliminates the need for framing. It has a nice substantial look and sculptural feel.
