This painting is a tribute to the many mornings spent surfing at my favorite beach break, Upper Trestles. The bikes left on the sand are a portrait, or sorts, of the friends and locals who call this beach ‘home’. And, in general, if there are bikes left on the sand, it usually means there are fun waves to be surfed.
