CATALINA ISLAND EXPERIENCE

I had an awesome opportunity to showcase my art on Santa Catalina Island for July 13th,14th and 15th. In conjunction with Laguna Plein Air Painter's Association, the Catalina Island Company is hosting artists every week through the summer, giving us a unique opportunity to experience the island, paint the beautiful scenery and exhibit artwork at the Shops at Atwater. I got a sleu of new painting inspirations, met great people and enjoyed painting 'en plein air' all around Avalon. The best part is that I sold my favorite piece, "Harbor Sunrise", that I painted at Avalon Harbor. Stay tuned, as I will be showing that painting in my next blog entry.
